What’s So Good About DC?

I’ve yet to say one good thing about this place. This blog is #1 in Google for “I just moved to DC and I hate it“. The only reason I know that is because someone found this site by searching for that phrase…so I guess I’m not alone.

This negativity has to change because I’d like to preserve whatever little amount of sanity that I have left. So I’m on a mission to discover “what’s so good about DC?”

I’m starting by finding some activities I’d like to try. So far I’ve found:

- A Land and Sea Tour of DC. Tours are usually kind of boring to me but this one might be fun. [ DC Ducks]

- Dumbarton House- I am such a fan of old stuff. What I mean is that anything that looks historic or has that “old town” feel is right up my alley. So I’d love to see this house that shows life from the early 1800’s [Dumbarton House]

- Fine Dining Dinner Boat- The only thing that’s a little odd is that I don’t see any prices on the website. Maybe it’s one of those “if you have to ask…” sort of things. But I don’t like the idea of giving a credit card number online when I don’t even know what I’m paying for. I guess I have to do something I hate which is to pick up the phone and call..
