First of all I’d like to ask what’s up with all these “reserved for cops” parking spaces at restaurants? Is it that dangerous to eat out or am I living in the land of gluttonous cops? I’d really like an answer to that.

I walked into Friday’s looking forward to ordering the potato skins. They had a few appetizers that were offered at a discount so I decided to try something different, after all it was only $4. The appetizer was good but the service left something to be desired.

Pros:

The portions were large. This made me happy because I had enough for lunch for the next day.

They had a discount on select appetizers.

Cons:

The waiter didn’t bring us plates for the appetizer until we were practically done

He forgot to bring the fries for the Mr.’s entree. We had to wait awhile before he came back around.

Did I mention the waiter made himself scarce? Not only did it take forever to bring the check, but then he forgot to come back around and pick it up. So we had to go up to the hostess and ask her how were we supposed to pay. “Pay your waiter”, she said. “He hasn’t come back around, can you get him for us?”. In all fairness he did apologize but I was still annoyed.

Can I get a box? “Sorry we are out of regular boxes but we have these [very] small plastic ones”
